Connect your phone to the dedicated SSN-SNUC MUNSOC Event Wi-Fi.
Ensure VPN apps are disabled on your phone (VPNs block local server connections).
Open your browser and navigate to:
https://munsoc.local:8443
or the fixed server IP address provided by event organizers.
🔒 2. SSL Certificate Setup (Required for Camera Access)
Browsers require a trusted HTTPS connection to enable camera QR scanning.
iPhone (iOS Safari):
Download and install the Root CA certificate (munsoc-root-ca.crt).
Go to Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install.
Go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings.
Enable Full Trust for "SSN-SNUC MUNSOC Root CA".
Android (Chrome):
Go to Settings → Security & Privacy → More Security Settings → Encryption & Credentials → Install a Certificate → CA Certificate.
Select munsoc-root-ca.crt and confirm.
📷 3. Camera & Scanning Troubleshooting
Permission Denied: If prompted by your browser, tap Allow Camera Access. If blocked, open browser site settings and reset permissions for munsoc.local.
Camera in use: Close background apps (such as WhatsApp, Camera, or Instagram) that might be holding the camera.
Blurry or Damaged QR: Hold the phone 15-20 cm away from the delegate badge. If lighting is poor or the QR is torn, use Manual Delegate Entry on the scanner screen.
⌨ 4. Manual Delegate Code Entry
If camera scanning fails, staff can enter the delegate's code manually into the input box at the bottom of the scanner page (e.g., UNH482) and tap Collect. Duplicate prevention rules apply identically to manual collections.
🍳 5. Meal QR Rules
Select the correct meal service before collecting. Existing delegate QR codes collect lunch only. Breakfast QR codes are marked for breakfast and work for either Day 2 or Day 3 breakfast. Manual entry is available for every selected service.
